![]() Whether there is benefit in one over the other is, I guess, down to personal preference. ![]() ![]() The fourth printing in 2005 was printed on thinner paper in quarter blue-grey buckram and a blue-grey matching slip case, again as part of the 'Castaway's Choice' series. Similarly, The Odyssey was originally published in the quarter "leather" series binding, as were the second and third printings. In 2006 a version bound in quarter dark red buckram, with a dark red slipcase, was produced to coincide with the selection of this title as one of a number of 'Castaway's Choices'. The Iliad was originally published in 1996, and its first five printings (through to 2001) all used the "Classical and Mythological" series quarter "leather" binding which commenced in 1992 with Herodotus' Histories. ![]() There have indeed been many printings of the Fagles version of The Iliad and The Odyssey. ![]()
